Kniha „Neinvazivní metody v kardiologii 2025“ zahrnuje výsledky úzké spolupráce Masarykovy univerzity s univerzitou v Minnesotě. Editoři a autoři prezentují výsledky chronobiologie a variability krevního tlaku u zdravých jedinců a pacientů s hypertenzí a ischemickou chorobou srdeční. Výsledky byly prezentovány na setkání na Masarykově univerzitě v Brně. Variabilita arteriálního indexu tepenné tuhosti (AASI) ze sedmidenního 24hodinového ambulantního monitorování krevního tlaku je u jednotlivého subjektu velmi velká. Nenalezli jsme rozdíly mezi zdravými osobami a pacienty s ischemickou chorobou srdeční. Bylo zjištěno, že spolehlivost indexu ambulantní arteriální tuhosti, vypočítaného ze záznamů ambulantního monitorování krevního tlaku (ABPM), přesně odráží arteriální tuhost v populačních studiích, ale velká nejistota spojená s jejím stanovením může omezit její použití pro léčbu jednotlivých pacientů. Kniha dále obsahuje historii dlouholeté spolupráce s pracovišti a univerzitami z Japonska a výsledky vědeckých poznatků v oblasti rizika stanoveného pomocí kardiovaskulárního indexu tuhosti cév (Cardio-Ankle Vascular Index, CAVI) a dalších kardiovaskulárních rizik.
