Anotace

Název anglicky: Back to the Light: The Contribution of Use-wear Analysis to the Knowledge of the Past

K nejvíce se rozvíjejícím disciplínám v rámci archeologie patří v posledních letech bezesporu traseologie, která umožňuje hledat odpovědi na množství dosud opomíjených nebo jinak těžko zodpověditelných otázek. Díky traseologii tak dnes umíme rekonstruovat řadu výrobních postupů, oprav či sekundárních úprav pravěkých artefaktů, stejně tak se lze přiblížit k odhalení funkce mnoha předmětů. Traseologie zároveň pomáhá při studiu ekonomických aktivit, dálkových kontaktů či sociálních struktur dávných populací. Všechny tyto možnosti i řadu dalších, které jsou s traseologií spojeny, prezentuje předložená kniha.
