Abstrakt

The study examines the collection as both a medium and a microcosm of the artist, focusing on the ways in which collecting practices reflect and articulate artistic identity. Rather than treating the collection merely as an accumulation of objects, the study approaches it as a space in which personal experiences, creative strategies, and systems of meaning intersect. The chapter demonstrates how collections can function as extensions of artistic practice, revealing the relationship between individual objects and broader conceptual frameworks. By exploring the interplay between collecting and artistic self-definition, it highlights the collection as a dynamic structure through which identity is constructed, communicated, and continuously reinterpreted.
