Abstrakt

This article focuses on the phenomenon of plurilingualism, understood as a common reality in today’s classrooms. Despite this, teaching practices continue to be based on monolingual approaches that largely ignore the learner’s actual linguistic repertoire. The aim of this article is to reflect on the profile of plurilingual learners by considering their sociolinguistic char-
acteristics and the interlinguistic phenomena, lexical transfers, that arise from the contact between their languages, which are recognized as an inherent resource in the acquisition process. From this perspective, a set of pedagogical orientations is proposed with the purpose of drawing on learners’ linguistic repertoires and enhancing the effectiveness of additional language (L3/Ln) acquisition through an inclusive didactic approach oriented towards the development of plurilingual competence.
