Abstrakt

Článok analyzuje konštrukciu a použitie vybraného ukazovateľa pro-poor rastu – mieru pro-poor rastu. Ďalej vysvetľuje interpretáciu tohto ukazovateľa z absolútneho a relatívneho hľadiska a ukazuje, ako ekonomický rast vplýva na chudobu a nerovnosť. Vybraný ukazovateľ je aplikovaný na príklade Indonézie a porovnáva pro-poor rast v mestských a vidieckych oblastiach Indonézie, skúma regionálne disparity z hľadiska pro-poor rastu v období 1996–2019. V celom skúmanom období je z absolútneho hľadiska pozorovaný absolútny pro-poor rast aj v mestských, aj vo vidieckych oblastiach. Rozdielne výsledky sú z relatívneho hľadiska interpretácie pro-poor rastu v prvom dielčom období (1996–2000). Kým na vidieku dochádzalo k relatívnemu pro-poor rastu, v mestách došlo k silnému pro-poor rastu, kedy bol pozorovaný významný pokles nerovnosti (príjmy chudobných vzrástli, zatiaľ čo priemerný príjem celej populácie klesol). V zvyšných dvoch dielčich obdobiach (2000–2010 a 2010–2019) dosahovala Indonézia v rurálnych a urbánnych oblastiach tzv. prekvapkávajúci pro-poor rast.
