Abstrakt
Ernst Mach was not only a physicist with outstanding questions, or a philosopher of science, he was also an excellent educator, both in his theory as well as his own lectures. Unfortunately, this aspect of his epistemology seems rather unknown nowadays[1], though it is therefore all the more worth to revive. For an introduction into the topic, we shall look at a prominent contemporary of Mach, William James, for his opinion on Machian education.
