Abstrakt

Ve druhé polovině 20. století došlo k posunu vědecké pozornosti od lingvistické kompetence ke kompetenci komunikační a pragmatické (Hymes, 1972; Canale & Swain, 1980; Canale, 1983; Bachman, 1990; Bachman & Palmer, 1996; Usó-Juan & Martínez-Flor, 2006). Výsledkem bylo množství zahraničních studií zabývajících se řečovými akty. Cílem mého dizertačního projektu je osvětlit strategie řečových aktů omluvy, které používají čeští vysokoškolští studenti v angličtině jako cizím jazyce (L2), neboť v českém prostředí podobná studie dosud nebyla publikována.
