Abstrakt
Cílem přehledové studie je představit obavu z komunikace v cizím jazyce jako jednu z proměnných, která může určitým způsobem vstupovat do procesu učení se cizímu jazyku. Tato práce se zaměřuje na mapování výzkumů zabývající se touto problematikou u studentů vysoké školy. Studie přináší přehled na základě dat z šestnácti studií, které byly zahrnuty do mezinárodní databáze Web of Science a Scopus v rozmezí posledních devatenácti let. Kvantitativně a kvalitativně zaměřené studie zkoumají obavu z komunikace v cizím jazyce ve vztahu k osobnostním charakteristikám jednotlivců a vnějším proměnným, jako např. osobnost učitele nebo dynamika školní třídy.
