Abstrakt

Karel Čapek v hre R. U. R. predstavil futuristickú spoločnosť, v ktorej roboti vykonávajú nielen všetku ľudskú prácu, ale aj všetky naše zlozvyky a cnosti. Pád ľudstva je v Čapkovom diele symbolizovaný láskou k robotom a medzi robotmi. Láska a reprodukcia sú preto jednou z hlavných tém celého deja R. U. R. Ľudia vytvoria robotov. Roboti vytvoria viac robotov. Roboti zničia ľudí. Čo ak by ale roboti mohli vytvoriť ľudí? Tento článok je zameraný na tému robotického kreovania ľudí. Hlavná línia článku je venovaná analýze možnosti autonómnej artifi ciálnej selekcie ľudských embryí. Súčasné štúdie ukazujú, že rozpoznávanie vzorov pomocou umelej inteligencie poskytuje priestor pre dramatický pokrok v efektívnosti klasifi - kácie životaschopnosti embryí. Kombinácia tejto technológie s inými očakávanými technológiami by jedného dňa mohla vytvoriť predpoklady pre úplnú robotickú reprodukciu ľudí. Článok predstavuje niekoľko argumentov v prospech a proti myšlienke, že ľudia by sa jedného dňa mohli alebo mali stať robotickými bábätkami.
